Our Commitment
- Compliance with Laws and Regulations: We strictly adhere to all relevant anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) laws and regulations in Malaysia, including the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001 (AMLATFPUAA).
- Risk-Based Approach: We adopt a risk-based approach to identify, assess, and mitigate the risks of money laundering and terrorist financing associated with our business activities.
- Customer Due Diligence (CDD): We perform comprehensive CDD measures on all our clients and business partners, including verifying their identity, understanding the nature and purpose of their business relationships, and monitoring their transactions for suspicious activity.
- Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD): We apply EDD measures to higher-risk clients and transactions, including obtaining additional information and conducting more thorough scrutiny.
- Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR): We promptly report any suspicious transactions or activities to the relevant authorities, as required by law.
- Record-Keeping: We maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client identification, transactions, and other relevant information for at least five years.
- Training and Awareness: We provide regular training and awareness programmes to our employees on AML and CTF risks, policies, and procedures.
- Independent Audit: We conduct regular independent audits of our AML/CTF programme to ensure its effectiveness.
